I didn’t pass my exam. What should I do now?

 

 

We understand how disappointing this must be, and while it’s not the outcome you hoped for, it’s important to remember that you are certainly not alone. Many students face setbacks like this on their exam journey, but the vast majority go on to succeed and achieve their goals. What’s next?

The first step is to head over to your KMK account and log in. Once you’re logged in, look for the “Request an Extension” tab. Click on it and follow the prompts to submit your request for an extension. We may ask you to provide some details, including your exam scores if you’ve taken the exam before. Please know that your scores are used solely within our system to validate the need for an extension, and we do not share or use them in any other way.

Extension Not Processed – I Requested an Extension but It Has Not Been Processed

 

I requested an extension, but it hasn’t been processed. What should I do?

If your extension isn’t processing, there are a few things to check:

  1. Your course hasn’t expired, or the request wasn’t made through the correct platform.
    Extensions can only be requested after your course has expired. Once it expires, the “Launch” button on your course will change to “Request an Extension.” Use this tab to submit your request by following the prompts. Requests made via email or social media cannot be processed.
  2. A reactivation fee is required.
    If you’ve already graduated, a reactivation fee is needed to reactivate your access. Your extension can only be processed after the fee is paid.

Why do you require board scores?

We request your scores solely to verify the need for exam retakes, ensuring fairness by addressing past issues with account sharing. We understand the sensitivity of score reports and assure you that they are used only for this purpose and are never shared with others. Additionally, scores are analyzed anonymously to evaluate program effectiveness and improve our offerings. All usage complies with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

 

Why is the extension period so short? I thought it would last until my exam date.

 

The extension period aligns with the next NBEO administration for your exam to help you focus your study efforts closer to the exam date. This approach also protects you and future students from unnecessary price increases caused by account sharing and operational costs.

 

How do I upgrade to a higher-level KMK course?

 

Upgrading to a higher-level KMK course is easy! Simply log in to your KMK account, go to your Dashboard, and click on any feature not included in your current course level. Then, follow the prompts to complete your upgrade. For example, if you’re currently enrolled in KMK Core and want to access the additional features of BoardsOne, select the Booster Course in the left sidebar and follow the provided steps. We think you’ll love all the extra features that BoardsOne includes!

 

How do I access the KMK Booster Book?

Your KMK Booster Book is available for download directly from your KMK account! Simply click on the download link to save it to your device. You can then choose to print it at home or at your local print shop.

How do I request a restream for missed live lectures?

 

If you missed your school’s live lecture weekend, we’ve got you covered!

Accessing the Request:
Log into your KMK account and click on the ☰ icon in the top right corner. From there, you’ll find the “Request Restream” menu.

Submitting Your Request:
Once you’re on the Request Restream page, submit your request for the materials. The sessions will be added to your account as soon as they become available.
